The Messianic Jewish Alliance of Israel (“MJAI”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Information we collect and why
Newsletter sign-up
When you sign up for updates we collect your email address and add it to our mailing list so we can send you news about our work. We use Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) to store the list and send emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Contact form
When you contact us we collect your email address, your message and, if you give it, your name. We use them only to read and reply to your message. The form delivers your message to our staff; we do not add you to our mailing list unless you sign up separately.
Donations
Donations are processed by PayPal. Your card or bank details go directly to PayPal and are never seen or stored by us. PayPal shares with us the information needed to record your gift, such as your name, email address, the amount and the transaction reference, which we keep for our financial records and, where applicable, to issue a donation receipt.
Spam and abuse protection
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA. To tell people and automated bots apart, reCAPTCHA collects technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Videos
Some pages include videos from YouTube. When a video player loads, YouTube (Google) may collect information about your device and viewing, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Technical information
Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Page content and images are served through Prismic, the system we use to manage the website.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools on this website, and we do not sell your personal information.
Our online shop
Links to our music shop take you to a separate store run on Shopify. Information you give there is handled under that store’s own privacy policy.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf to provide their service, and where we are required to by law. Some of these providers are based in the United States or the European Union. Where information is transferred outside Israel, we rely on the providers’ contractual and security commitments to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
- Donation records: for the period required by Israeli tax and accounting law.
Your rights
Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including to object to or restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time.

Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
